A Variety poll of close to 3000 readers found "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" to be the best Disney "Star Wars" movie so far. Call it the defacto winner. I expected it to win. Think about it; A large contingent of fans think "The Force Awakens" was way too similar to "A New Hope," another contingent hates "The Last Jedi" with every ounce of their being, and "Solo," well that movie is just universally disliked. So, TADA, "Rogue One," the defacto winner. Which is not to say it's a bad movie, no, quite the contrary, it's actually quite watchable and brings a lot to of extra-ness to the history of the original Lucas films.
