Kevin Costner’s ‘Horizon: Part One' is 3 Hours

Add another lengthy film to your summer movie schedule. Deadline is reporting that Kevin Costner’s “Horizon: An American Saga — Part 1” is 3 hours long. Absolutely nobody should be surprised by the runtime. Costner is going for broke with this passion project, which he self-funded by, among other things, selling his 10-acre Oceanfront Santa Barbara property. He’s supposed to shoot parts 3 and 4 this summer in Southern Utah.

Directed by Joachim Rønning, the film also stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, and Gillian Anderson. “Tron: Ares” is currently slated for a TBD 2025 release date.
