Our initial rumor was correct. A24 has just acquired U.S. distribution rights to Luca Guadagnino’s “Queer,” starring Daniel Craig. I’m also being told that it was A24 who were initially concerned by the film’s 200-minute runtime and asked Guadagnino to edit the film down to a releasable length. Queer’s budget is said to be around $53M.
