A trailer for the MCU’s upcoming “Captain America: Brave New World” will be released on Thursday. Reshoots on the film are currently happening in Georgia, until August, and a February 2025 release date has been set up by Disney/Marvel. A few weeks ago, I reported the film’s budget ballooned to $350M.
Last year, after receiving negative test scores, and Marvel being underwhelmed by an early cut of the film, Julius Onah’s “Captain America: Brave New World” had its 2024 release date delayed by a year. Extensive reshoots were also called, with three major action sequences being filmed, from May to August 2024.
The film, which stars Anthony Mackie, Liv Tyler, Harrison Ford, Shira Haas, and Tim Blake Nelson, is set to be released on February 14, 2025. Nothing says Valentine’s Day like Captain America.
