Last month, production was abruptly halted on Warner Bros.’ upcoming DC film, “The Batman, of course, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its writer-director Matt Reeves, speaking to Deadline, is now admitting that roughly 25% of the film has been already shot.

I do wonder how this R-Batz backlash, stemming mostly from DCEU fans, will unfold once, ya know, Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” is actually released. The trailer will no doubt be a good indicator as to how this risky bit of casting will be met. Once first footage is shown (probably next year) Pattinson’s take on Bruce Wayne/The Caped Crusader will be miscroscoped to no ends by megafans

Director Matt Reeves is putting finishing touches on his ‘Batman’ film, finalizing pre-production before shooting begins later this month. Titled, “The Batman,” or at least for now as Reeves said earlier last week, the DC Film is set to be released on June 25th, 2021 release. We also know that Ben Affleck will not be back to play the caped crusader, tweeting back on January 30th, “ Excited for #TheBatman in Summer 2021 and to see @MattReevesLA vision come to life.”
