Although the cast for Sam Mendes’ four ‘Beatles’ movies hasn’t been confirmed, we do have a generally decent idea of the actors being sought for the main roles: Harris Dickinson (John Lennon), Paul Mescal (Paul McCartney), Barry Keoghan (Ringo Starr), and Charlie Rowe (George Harrison) are rumored to portray the Fab Four.
Mendes is directing all four films. How about the screenwriter? It’s now come to our attention that Krsyty Wilson Cairns is writing all of them. If that name rings a bell, it’s because Cairns was mentioned many months back as the screenwriter Denis Villeneuve hired to pen his still-in-development “Cleopatra.”
Cairns, 37, officially speaking, just has three writing credits in feature filmmaking career: “1917,” “Last Night in Soho” and “The Good Nurse.” She’s now been assigned the daunting task of bringing John, Paul, George and Ringo’s lives to the silver screen. All four films are set for release in 2027.
