What exactly was Warner Bros’ thinking when they decided to release Clint Eastwood’s “Juror #2” in only 50 theaters nationwide this coming Friday, with zero intentions to expand it. The film will most likely be on streaming in a matter of weeks.
The reviews continue to be strong for “Juror #2.” It currently has a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and 76 on Metacritic. In France, the reviews are also strong. Will there be any pushback within Warner Bros in regards to the tepid rollout it’s getting? You already have critics, in smaller cities, complaining that the film isn’t press screening in their neck of the woods.
“Juror #2” stars Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, Kiefer Sutherland, JK Simmons, Chris Messina, Zoey Deutch, Gabriel Basso and Leslie Bibb. Eastwood is not doing any press for the film, and that’s understandable given that he’s 94. Rumor is that this might not be, as previously advertised, his “final film.”
