Woody Allen’s upcoming film, shot almost entirely in French, has set a September production date, according to Production Weekly. The film will be shot in Paris.
A (working?) title has also appeared, as Allen’s upcoming film is currently being called “Wasp 22.” No plot synopsis or additional cast details have been revealed, although there keep being rumors that Isabelle Huppert will star.
My intel from a month ago proved to be correct. Woody Allen later confirmed, in an interview with Alec Baldwin, that he would indeed be shooting his upcoming dark drama in Paris this fall.
“Wasp 22” is set to be Allen’s 50th directorial effort and he’s even hinted it could be his last. The writer-director claims he is just not that excited anymore in making films, citing his less-than-appealing view towards streaming.
