“No Time To Die” was supposed to be released in April of 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it until November 2020, then that date got postponed to the Spring of 2021, and, finally, an October 8th 2021 release date was issued.
That means it took a whopping 17 months for the 50th instalment of the James Bond franchise to finally be released. That’s right folks, “No Time to Die” is set to screen for press, worldwide, tomorrow at 3PM EST. The embargo is supposed to lift at 7:01pm EST.
The film runs an epic 163 minutes which makes it the longest Bond movie ever. The previous winner of this title was “Spectre” (148 minutes). This is also set to be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as Bond. As far as I’m concerned, Craig re-energized the franchise with “Casino Royale” and “Skyfall” — the two best bond movies since 1969’s “On Her Majesty’s Service.”
