Paul Schrader lives and breathes cinema and, much like any other passionately deranged filmmaker out there, he’s none too happy that his film “The Card Counter,” which had less than 5 days left to shoot, was shut down by producers due Coronavirus concerns. Schrader was so incensed by the decision to close down the set that he went on his Facebook account to call the producers out and insinuate that they are pussies. As the 73-year-old writer of “Taxi Driver” and “Raging Bull” put it, “I’m old and asthmatic, what better way to die than on the job.” Godspeed.
