Bill Maher Called Out as NPC in Hollywood Billboards; Maher Responds By Calling Pranksters “Incels”

January 16, 2019 Jordan Ruimy

Over the weekend, left-bashing street artists turned a billboard of HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher into an NPC meme. The billboard was promoting the return of his show with a billboard depicting him as a seeker of the truth, however, conservative street artist group “The Faction” decided to remodel the ad, located at the corner of La Cienega Boulevard & West Holloway in West Hollywood, by  spray painting a gray, expressionless face over Maher’s and changing the image’s tagline from “The Whole Truth and Nothing But” to “The Whole Narrative and Nothing But.” They also changed “HBO” to “NPC.”

An NPC, in conservative-speak, is a political reference to what conservative’s perceive as the leftist media’s earnestly ingested and regurgitated talking points. In other words, that their views aren’t concentrated on individualized common sense, but rather severe groupthink reflecting the talking points that progressive mouthpieces push on a daily basis. In other words, their beliefs are programmed into them by PC culture, which makes them believe they are thinking individually, at their own will, when, in essence, they are not, and doing the total opposite.

Maher responded [via Twitter] by saying: “To those Incels who defaced my billboard, I just want you to know, I will follow you to the gates of your parents’ basement! And thanks for the free publicity, Real Time is back Friday night!” he said in a social media post attached to a photo of the billboard.
