Dexter Fletcher Replaces Bryan Singer as Director of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

Dexter Fletcher

Dexter Fletcher has been hired to replace Bryan Singer as the director of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Production on the Freddie Mercury biopic is supposed to resume next week.
Fletcher was the original director of the film, back when Ben Whishaw (“Skyfall”) was supposed to play Mercury. He left the project in 2014 over "creative differences."
This is unexpected. I know him primarily as an actor. The main question we all have is: How do the credits work now? Will Singer still get directing credit? Will it be a co-directing credit between Singer and Fletcher? Just Fletcher?'

Singer was fired earlier this week after failing to show up on-set post-thanksgiving break. Before that, he was fighting with his stars, including an incident involving the throwing of  a metal object towards lead actor Rami Malek. The director later released a statement with his own side of the story, blaming the illness of one of his parents, and Fox refusing to give him two weeks off, for his on-set disappearance.
