You can love or hate Bigelow's "Detroit," but you have to acknowledge that the above blurb is everything that is wrong with film criticism today. There's a slowly emerging twitter contingent that's forming against Bigelow's stunning film, let's hope it doesn't distract from the fact that this is actually a good movie. You'd think they'd, at the very least, be happy that a woman is directing the movie.
