This isn’t at all surprising, and I was hinting at it earlier in the week, but it’s looking like “Spider-Man 4” will not be released the week after Christopher Nolan’s next film in July 2026.
The very reliable ViewerAnon, who almost never dishes out wrong intel, is saying that the new release date for “Spider-Man 4” will be Christmas 2026. Makes sense since the last Spidey (“No Way Home”) was also released around Christmas and there’s also no ‘Avatar’ or ‘Star Wars’ movie dated for December 2026.
Earlier in the week, it was reported that ‘Spider-Man 4’ would not be starting production until late 2025. The film had set up a six-month shoot, which means that the late 2025 production start might very well bleed into 2026. No plot details have been revealed, but Tom Holland will be reprising his role as Spidey, and Zendaya is set to return as well.
It’s been rumored that Tom Hardy’s Venom would be part of ‘Spider-Man 4,’ which has Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang Chi) stepping in for Jon Watts, the previous director of the first Spider-Man trilogy.
