Snoop Dogg to Star in Eli Roth’s ‘Don’t Go In That House, Bitch!’

January 16, 2026 Jordan Ruimy

Oh, boy. Here comes Eli Roth — a director best known for his contributions to the torture-porn genre, and a filmmaker whose name should come with a trigger warning anytime it’s mentioned on Twitter.

Now here’s Variety confirming a project that’s been circulating for a few months now: Snoop Dogg is set to star in Roth’s upcoming horror movie, “Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!” — Snoop will also produce and take charge of the film’s soundtrack. What could possibly go wrong?

Roth describes “Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!” as “the ultimate haunted house movie, like the craziest one.” Shooting is expected to kick off in June.

“People keep going in the house. People don’t listen. What are you doing, bitch? Don’t go in that house,” Roth said. “People just keep going in. Like, what are you doing? You’re not going to come out of there. Don’t do it. Turn around. Leave! It’s basically everything that we yell at the screen during horror movies. You put those as characters in the movie like a Greek chorus.”

Roth is coming off the nadir of his career, “Borderlands,” which I’m surprised he hasn’t disowned yet — considering he was replaced by Tim Miller for extensive reshoots that reportedly covered nearly half the movie.

Along with the Snoop project, Roth has “The Ice Cream Man” hitting theaters later this year. He also has a “Thanksgiving” sequel coming up — the original, for some reason, was the best-reviewed film of his career on Rotten Tomatoes. I much preferred 2002’s “Cabin Fever,” still his best work. Hell, even “Hostel” was better — but that’s just my humble opinion.

In the meantime, that Snoop/Roth haunted house movie promises to answer the real question we’ve all been asking: can Snoop Dogg survive a haunted house?
