Kristoffer Borgli is coming off his highly amusing “Dream Scenario,” and he’s now teaming up again with A24, adding two very big actors into the mix, for “The Drama”.
Sources are telling Deadline that Borgli’s “The Drama” is set to star Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. Borgli will direct from a script he wrote. Production is set to begin this fall.
Project details are currently “under wraps,” but rumors point towards it being about “a romance that takes an unexpected turn before a couple’s big day.”
Borgli, whose sophomore effort, 2022’s “Sick of Myself,” premiered at Cannes, is a filmmaker filled with potential — “Dream Scenario” was his best work. He is also attached to direct the highly anticipated HBO adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ "The Shards” which still has no production date.
