Sony Teases Quentin Tarantino’s Final Film: “More [Details] to Come"

June 17, 2024 Jordan Ruimy

Another twist in the never-ending saga of Quentin Tarantino’s final film.

Sony Pictures was the first major studio to give a presentation at the 2024 CineEurope trade show on Monday. The studio’s resident of international distribution Steven O’Dell gave a rundown of what to expect in the future, and lo and behold Tarantino’s final film was mentioned …

Yes, O’Dell teased Tarantino’s new project. Although the director’s 10th and final film, “The Movie Critic,” was scrapped earlier this year, O’Dell hinted that something new was coming in the foreseeable future, saying there was “more to come” and that he couldn’t “talk about” it.

Earlier in the year, Tarantino was gearing up to shoot “The Movie Critic,” starring Brad Pitt, that is until Deadline revealed he had scrapped the project altogether for another film. Word is that Tarantino rewrote the script, had a new draft and then, quite simply, had a change of heart.
