Paapa Essiedu (“Gangs of London”) has been offered to play Severus Snape in the ‘Harry Potter’ TV series. The role had originally been played by Alan Rickman in the Potter movies (via THR). I’m sure folks will be very respectful, and there won’t be any controversy whatsoever about this casting.
