I’ve already reported on Bennett Miller’s next film, which is in the early stages of prep work, already has a star attached and is being penned by a mysterious writer. Here’s an update that is sure to intrigue.
TheInSneider is reporting that the writer Miller is secretly working with is none other than Charlie Kaufman, the writer behind “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Being John Malkovich,” “Adaptation,” “Synecdoche, NY,” and “Anomalisa.”
Furthermore, the untitled film, which tackles A.I., is set up at Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures, who will produce and distribute the film. Annapurna also helmed Miller’s last film, 2014’s “Foxcatcher.”
We still don’t know the mystery actor attached to the project — it could be Brad Pitt since Miller and the actor are very good friends and were seen meeting in public more than a few times this year. As for when the film shoots, I wouldn’t be surprised if production begins as early as next year.
