I first began this site as the start of something new. My ambitions were to finally break free of freelance work, and actually share my passions without editorial constraints, and, at the same time, start thoughtful conversation with my readers about the world of cinema.
I feel that looking back on the last year, having seen the way this site has risen in popularity, and the sheer volume of movie fans who keep coming back to discuss their love of the medium, that I have been able to accomplish many of the things I wanted.
I love the feelings that come with a new movie year. I love the anticipation of change, the desire to see what comes next. As I write this, I have big plans for this site in 2024, some of which will be shared in the coming months.
