We’ve been intensely following David Robert Mitchell’s upcoming mystery/thriller, with dinosaurs, set in the 1980s. It’s his first film since 2018’s “Under the Silver Lake.”
Word is that it might be titled “Flowervale Street,” or it could just be the working title, and that an early fall shoot is being eyed by the production team in Los Angeles.
Bad Robot and Warner Bros. are set to launch it with JJ Abrams also tagged in as producer. Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway is attached to star. No other actors have been announced as of now.
The film is being billed as a “thrill-ride” to be shot in IMAX, so this could turn out to be Mitchell’s first “blockbuster,” but sadly there isn’t much more information that we’ve gathered thus far. Stay tuned …
