UPDATE: Some divisive reactions are coming in for “Napoleon.” It’s definitely not getting panned, some critics even love the film. On Metacritic, based on 18 reviews, “Napoleon” has a 70. On Rotten Tomatoes it’s at 78%. Some expected it to fare much worse than this.

The mixed reviews seem to mostly be coming from US critics (IndieWire, THR, New York Post, RogerEbert, Vanity Fair, Slash Film).
