Set during the thick of the pandemic, the first trailer for the COVID-inspired horror movie “Sick” has been released.
The film comes to us from “Scream” screenwriter Kevin Williamson, the story is familiar, a group of young people at an isolated lakeside cabin being stalked by a psychopath, but the pandemic-era details make it seem fresher than usual.
Official synopsis: “As the pandemic steadily brings the world to a halt, Parker and her best friend Miri decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone—or so they think.”
The film actually premiered this past September at Fantastic Film Fest and the reviews were very good. Some added good news, the film is only 83 minutes and is set to premiere on Peacock next Friday.
