Writer-Director Damien Chazelle’s impressive filmography has made him a household name in the industry. “Whiplash,” and “La La Land” were both expertly created statements and the well-reviewed “First Man,” had Christopher Nolan’s backing. (Although I was not a fan of the camerawork)
Today we learned that Chazelle is working on his fifth feature, tentatively titled “Babylon.”
According to Deadline, Chazelle’s latest will potentially star Emma Stone and is said to be a period film that takes place in Hollywood. According to the report, because the epic requires a significantly high budget, plenty of studios are lining up to spend money to land “Babylon.” Lionsgate being the apparent front-runner.
