Dave Bautista says he'll quit "Guardians of the Galaxy" if James Gunn script isn’t used

"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Dave Bautista has been on a tear lately. He's been fuming over the firing of James Gunn from "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" after controversial, old tweets were uncovered in which Gunn made pedophilia and rape jokes.

Earlier today, Bautista tweeted that working for Disney now feels  'Nauseating'.

Now comes another gut punch to Disney.

Shortlist interviewed  Bautista and asked him about the Gunn firing:

“Nobody’s defending his tweets, but this was a smear campaign on a good man,” he said to ShortList’s Tom Ellen. “I spoke to Chris Pratt the day after it happened and he’s a bit religious so he wanted time to pray and figure it out, but I was more like: f*ck this. This is bullshit. James is one of the kindest, most decent people I’ve met.

Bautista then mentioned the script for "Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3," which has already been written by Gunn and was approved by Disney:

Where I’m at right now is that if [Marvel] don’t use that script, then I’m going to ask them to release me from my contract, cut me out or recast me."

“I’d be doing James a disservice if I didn’t.”

Yikes.
