The more I think about Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, the more I like it. I have to admit the lack of any sort of conventional narrative structure had originally made me say the film was a "mess," but It really is an actor's showcase. Still a mess? Yes, but some truly incredible sequences. There are in the film around 4-5 of the very best scenes of any movie from 2017. The film could have easily had Harrelson in the running as well for Supporting Actor, that is if it weren't for Rockwell's stunning work.
