Last week I was wondering why Patty Jenkins' "Wonder Woman" wasn't screened yet for critics ahead of its June 2nd release date. This morning I received an invite to a May 30th screening at the Regal Fenway cinema here in Boston. That's still very close to its release date and fellow journo friends of mine in other cities have the same time frame for their own screening of the film. Why so close to the release date? You'd think they'd want to build word of mouth around it, or maybe the film just isn't critic proof? The quality of a film is always doubted when the studio decides to screen it at the very last minute ...
