Denis Villeneuve is a superfan of the film. That I can guarantee you. How do I know? I spoke to him about the film at a party in Montreal a year or so ago. What else do I know? He isn't going to reveal whether Deckard is a replicant or not, although, if you've seen the director's cut of the 1982 film, Ridley Scott has more or less told us he's a replicant. Then why has he aged here? There must be a reason. Do androids age?
