We need comedic elements to be more prevalent in superhero movies because there is a backlash happening and movies like "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Deadpool" have shown us that being meta is the next step forward for these movies.
This is directed by Chris McKay, Will Arnett voices Batman, what casting! Zach Galifianakis is The Joker, Michael Cera is Robin, Rosario Dawson is Barbara Gordon, and Ralph Fiennes is Alfred.
