Michael Moore has been giving us hints on Twitter of a possible new film being in the works. We didn't think it would come out this soon, what with his last film "Where to Invade Next" having been released just a few months ago, but "Michael Moore in Trumpland" will be coming out in three weeks time.
An exclusive first look will happen tonight in New York City at the IFC Center. Let's hope this doesn't feel like a rushed job to coincide with election time, but a Michael Moore film on Donald Trump has us fairly excited what with the wealth of material the director has at his disposal here, I mean, Trump is an even easier target than W. Let's hope the laughs come abundantly and with a sting.
The film's synopsis reads like this:
“See the film Ohio Republicans tried to shut down. Oscar-winner Michael Moore dives right into hostile territory with his daring and hilarious one-man show, deep in the heart of TrumpLand in the weeks before the 2016 election.”
Variety describes the film “a film version of [Moore’s] one-man show, which he has been performing in Ohio.”
