"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan has always stated his desire to bring the character of his now classic AMC series to the big screen. That wish might be happening much sooner than we think. In fact, a new report states that a movie based on the TV series might start shooting this coming month.
According to a new report from an Albuquerque publication, a movie titled "Greenbrier" will begin shooting the New-Mexico city as early as the end of the month. The report confirms it is a movie related to Breaking Bad. If you remember, Gilligan had signed a three-year overall deal with Sony Pictures Television this year.
Production on "Greenbrier" is set to last until February. The movie is said to follow "the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom." This could be about Aaron Paul's character Jesse Pinkman who escaped at the end of the series, whereas Bryan Cranston's Walter White met his fate in the form of a gruesome death.
