EARLIER: Quentin Tarantino has been spotted in Cardiff filming … something. Kylie Minogue was seen on the set. Since Tarantino refuses to make his tenth and final feature, I gather this is a commercial or music video? I mean, what else could it be?
Tarantino recently relocated to the UK as he prepares to debut a play in London, a “swashbuckling comedy” set in the 1830s, titled “The Popinjay Cavalier.” The play is supposed to debut in London’s West End in early 2027. No cast has been announced yet.
In between prep work for “The Popinjay Cavalier,” Tarantino has still managed to attract attention over the last few months by calling out Paul Dano as the “weakest fucking actor in SAG,” writing and publishing a puzzling five-page rave about “The RIP,” and releasing a four-hour cut of “Kill Bill” in theaters.
