We already knew that Greta Gerwig's next film, following “Barbie,” would be an adaptation of CS Lewis's “The Chronicles of Narnia” for Netflix, and it looks like casting has finally started for the film.
Deadline is reporting that Louis Partridge, who previously starred in “Enola Holmes” and “Argylle,” will play a currently unknown role in Gerwig’s ‘Narnia’ movies. I’m thinking it’s probably one of the lead roles.
Gerwig has not mentioned which of Lewis's novels she is adapting, but she will be directing at least two films, and some reports have suggested that one of them will be “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”. Production on the film(s) is set to begin this fall.
