It’s now been confirmed that ‘Shrek 5’ will release on July 1, 2026, in theaters. Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy will all be back to reprise their roles. I wrote more about the sequel here. Take note, this means that in the summer of 2026 “Shrek 5” and Toy Story 5” (06.19.26) will both be released three weeks apart.
