Two weeks ago, I mentioned how Clint Eastwood’s “Juror No.2” was not part of Warner Bros’ fall Oscar plans. We hadn’t heard anything about this one, with the absence of a trailer and no stills having been released.
Variety’s Clayton Davis is now reporting that “Juror No.2” won’t be released this year. It’s most likely headed to the 2025 calendar. A real shame. Eastwood is 94 and I would have loved to have seen the film in 2024. We’ll have to wait another year.
Warner Bros will be heavily campaigning “Dune: Part Two”, and “Joker 2,” not to mention “Furiosa” and “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” contending in the tech categories. Eastwood has been left in the backburner for the time being. Maybe, Cannes 2025?
