Ian McKellen’s Gandalf in ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy is an iconic movie character, and as Peter Jackson returns to Middle-earth with “The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum,” McKellen is seemingly confirming that he will reprise the character in the new film, that is “if I’m alive” (via The Times).
