It was bound to happen, especially with their respective home media releases having arrived in Europe, but Woody Allen’s “Coup de Chance” and Roman Polanski’s “The Palace” have leaked online.
I do know, for a fact, that Allen’s film has U.S. distribution, and will be released theatrically later this year. It just hasn’t been announced yet. I’m not sure what they’re waiting for. “Coup de Chance” is at 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Polanski’s film? Forget about it. No chance. It was not well received at Venice. “The Palace” currently sits at 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 15 reviews. It can’t be that bad? Right? At least Allen’s film garnered decent reviews and will have some curiosity seekers out there.
