Last month, I mentioned that David Robert Mitchell’s ‘80s-set dinosaur movie, potentially titled “Flowervale Street,” was going to start production in March. We now have some more details about it.
Casting is ramping up on the film as Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi) has signed on to star opposite Anne Hathaway in Mitchell’s Warner Bros produced film. It’s also said to have a budget of around $80 million.
We don’t know much about the plot, though Deadline is now describing it as a “thrill-ride” to be shot in IMAX. It’s quite clear that this is going to be the biggest film of Mitchell’s career — his other three (“The Myth of the American Sleepover,” “It Follows,” and “Under the Silver Lake”) were all indies.
