Not hard to believe that this will be one of strangest films of 2024.
As seen in the trailer, “Sasquatch Sunset” tackles a family of Sasquatches in the forests of North America. The film follows them over the course of a year, as they survive in the woods without anyone seeing them. It’s the big foot movie you never thought you needed in your life.
“Sasquatch Sunset,” directed by David Zellner and Nathan Zellner (“Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter”), stars Riley Keough, Jesse Eisenberg, Christophe Zajac-Denek, and Nathan Zellner — all unrecognizable in fur and makeup.
The film, which arrives in select theaters on April 12, was met with more-than-decent reviews at this past January’s Sundance Film Festival — 77% on Rotten Tomatoes and 71 on Metacritic.
