Christopher Nolan’s next film keeps adding the A-listers.
Now, it’s Charlize Theron’s turn to join the cast of Nolan’s ultra secretive film. The ensemble, so far, includes Theron, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, and Lupita Nyong’o. An early 2025 shoot is scheduled, in numerous European countries, for Nolan’s film.
Nolan started writing the screenplay for this next film back in March, just a few days after “Oppenheimer” triumphed at the Oscars. Universal Pictures recently hopped onboard the project to produce and distribute. The film is set for release on July 17, 2026.
Theron, an Oscar winner, is supposed to shoot Netflix’s “Apex” this month. She also has “The Old Guard 2” still in post-production (more on that soon). Some of her most notable performances can be found in “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Italian Job,” “Atomic Blonde,” “Young Adult” and “Tully.”
