On Sunday, I had reported that Eli Roth’s “Borderlands” was in post-production hell with even its main screenwriter, Craig Mazin, deciding to remove his name from the project — he’ll now go under the pseudonym of Joe Crombie. Now, we have one of the film’s stars, Jamie Lee Curtis, saying that the movie might only get released in 2024. Production on the film began in April of 2021 and wrapped in June 2021. Reshoots, rewrites and delays ensued. Hell, even Roth ended up exiting the film with “Deadpool” filmmaker taking over directing duties for the reshoots. Given the history of this film, I wouldn’t be completely certain that it’s actually coming out next year.
