A new report from Rolling Stone details Jonathan Majors’ pattern of alleged “extreme behavior” that harkens back to his university days.
Rolling Stone has more than 20 sources detailing Major’s “physical, mental, and emotional abuse,” including his abusing two former girlfriends, including one physically.
Obviously, Majors’ camp denies these allegations:
Jonathan Majors vehemently denies Rolling Stone’s false allegations that he physically, verbally, or emotionally abused anyone, let alone any of his past romantic partners. These allegations are based entirely on hearsay because neither of the romantic partners referenced were willing to engage with Rolling Stone for the article—demonstrating their outright falsity.
There’s also an account of of Majors violently pushing someone on the set of his upcoming film “Magazine Dreams”, and that there were other incidents during the filming of that movie.
While taking acting classes at Yale. “His behavior was very problematic for his class,” a Yale alumni told RS. “A lot of people felt in physical danger around him and certainly in mentally precarious positions because of him.”
Majors acting career is finished. You can put a lid on it. What’s so incredible about Majors’ epic downfall is the timing of it. He had two #1 movies at the box-office this year and another Oscar buzzed title (“Magazine Dreams”) premiering at Sundance. His stock was skyrocketing.
Now, we have hints of sociopathic behavior. He’s in serious trouble. Maybe the worst thing that could have possibly happened to him was getting very famous, otherwise, who knows if these abuse allegations would have ever come out.
Majors is, was, supposed to earn $20 million for next year’s “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” There is time before they have to make a decision regarding the actor's MCU fate. We all know where this is going, but it’s a very slow-moving train wreck in that regard.
Additionally, Majors is, was, supposed to play Dennis Rodman in a movie. He was also set to star in Spike Lee's DA UNDERSTUDY … produced by Will Smith.
Before details of Majors’ March 25 arrest had trickled in, indie director AB Allen tweeted about Majors:
“There’s a particular actor, relatively new on the scene, who Twitter has violently fallen head over heels for who, in actuality, is a vicious, cruel abusive human being, both professionally and his personal life, and every viral thirst tweet about him drives me insane.”
Ever since then, more people have come out with their own stories. This guy is F*cked.
