Ben Affleck’s “Air” will be available to stream on Prime Video beginning May 12. It was released in theaters during the first week of April and has managed to gross $74.7 million worldwide, with praise from audiences (with an “A” Cinemascore) and critics, alike. The budget was said to be around $90 million, but Amazon’s counting on this one to be an awards season contender later this year. In my review, dated 03.28.23, I called it a “familiar, but entertaining underdog story. Not a slam dunk.”
