Happy Holidays to all of our readers! In 2024, World of Reel is lifting the Rotten Tomatoes boycott and will resume adding published reviews on the aggregate site.
I had taken a break from being part of the Tomatometer, but I’m going to start using my RT profile as a tool for readers to be up to date with every review I post. As we’re still working on our own review archive, which will take up much of next year, there is the need to assemble everything that I’ve written.
Of all the December releases, I highly recommend “Poor Things,” “Ferrari,” “Memory,” “The Iron Claw,” “The Zone of Interest,” “American Fiction,” and “The Boy and the Heron.”
I also liked minor works like “The Taste of Things,” “Eileen,” but I wasn’t a fan of “Maestro,” “The Color Purple,” “The Boys in the Boat.” I’ll also have something up soon about Andrew Haigh’s “All of Us Strangers,” which I seem to be in the minority on.
