According to Deadline, Marvel Studios has hired Michael Waldron to write “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty”. He will also be penning “Avengers: Secret Wars.”
If you’re unfamiliar with Waldron’s work, he’s the creator of the Disney+ series, “Loki.” He also wrote this year’s terrible “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” This is who Marvel has decided to entrust with these upcoming two big movies.
Waldron replaces Jeff Loveless (“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”), who was originally set to write the screenplay, but was let go of his duties two weeks ago. Then, just one day later, Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings”) stepped down as director of ‘Kang Dynasty’.
Fun times being had by all at Marvel.
