Julian Schnabel’s “In the Hands of Dante” is currently shooting in Rome. The film stars Oscar Isaac, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, John Malkovich and Gerard Butler.
Variety is reporting that Al Pacino has been added to the cast. The last time we saw Pacino, 83, onscreen was in 2021 for Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci.” It’s always great to know that this legendary actor is still making movies.
Enfant terrible of the 1980s art scene, Schnabel is the critically-acclaimed director of “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” and “Before Night Falls.” Schnabel hasn’t directed a film since 2018’s acclaimed Van Gogh biopic “At Eternity’s Gate.”
