I’ve gotten a few emails about this. So, let’s tackle it … A Best Actor assessment featuring journalists Scott Mantz, Perri Nemiroff and Jeff Sneider, has a peculiar revelation coming from Mantz.
He claims that if the SAG-AFTRA strike isn’t settled by November 10th, then the 11.22 release date of Ridley Scott‘s Napoleon will be delayed until next summer. His source is The Wrap’s Sharon Waxman, but nowhere in her reporting has she mentioned this.
On 09.01.23 I had posted a rumor that “Napoleon” might be delayed, but we’re now 3 weeks away from its theatrical release. Isn’t it too late for a delay to occur? I’d be shocked if Sony pulled the plug on it at such a late stage in the game.
The trailers and promo material are all out. Scott has been doing countless interviews. Plenty of people want to see it now. Then again, I don’t think the film has been screened for press.
