Disney has decided to delay the release of its controversial live action “Snow White” by nearly a year. It will now open on March 21, 2025. Why the delay? Does Disney believe the controversy will just evaporate in 2025?
However, the mouse house did release the first official image of the film, which can be seen above. It’s surprisingly blurry, but does feature Snow White and her “magical creature” friends.
“Snow White,” which stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, was originally slated for release on March 22, 2024. Will the trailer still be released next month? It’s rumoured to be attached to screenings of Disney’s upcoming animated movie “Wish.”
Principal photography on “Snow White” began on March 7, 2022 and wrapped in June 2022. So, it’ll be released almost three years after production had wrapped. There have been rumors of reshoots having been called on the film, but, for now, they are just that, rumors.
