Production on Michael Mann's “Ferrari” has been well underway for a few weeks now. On-set photos have also leaked showing a prosthetically-aged Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari.
Meanwhile, we finally know who the DP of the film is. It's none other than David Fincher regular Erik Messerschmidt. Maybe someone should ask him what's going on with Fincher's “The Killer.”
Messerschmidt’s only current film credit has been his excellent work on “Mank,” before that he had photographed Fincher’s Netflix series “Mindhunter” and FX’s “Legion.” As mentioned, he has “The Killer” coming up next.
Mann, who is turning 80 next year, hasn’t released a movie since 2015’s “Blackhat.” There have been rumblings that the next one after “Ferrari” could be a sequel to his 1995 classic “Heat.” Mann has been tweeting out hints the last few weeks of it’s inevitable incoming production.
