The buzz around the summer comedy BROS (08.12.22) is that it will be a major breakout hit for Universal.
Test-screenings have gone incredibly well for the film, which is said to be the first comedy to have an all-LGBT cast. Even the straight characters are being played by LGBT actors. Of course, that does not necessarily equate to quality, but word around the campfire is that the film is flat-out hilarious.
This upcoming comedy is coming to us with the kind of buzz that could make it this year’s “The Hangover.” The film follows two men with commitment problems taking a crack at serious relationships.
It’s produced by Judd Apatow and directed by Nicolas Stoller who has more-than-decent track record in the comedy genre having helmed “Neighbours,” “The Five-Year Engagement,” “Get Him to the Greek,” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
